About Us
Tim and Ann Bailey have been passionate about Grand Lake since 1987, when they purchased their first boat from Indian Hills Marina. Over the years, their love for the area only grew, and in 2019, they made Grand Lake their permanent home after buying a house in Honey Creek.
Tim and Ann cherish spending time with their family and enjoy teaching their grandchildren all the wonderful activities that Grand Lake has to offer, such as fishing for crappie, swimming off their dock, and enjoying evening boat rides to watch the stunning sunsets over the lake.
In late 2021, they seized the opportunity to purchase Notable Outdoor Living from Ken and Myra Noteboom, who had done a fantastic job building the business and establishing strong customer relationships. Tim and Ann aim to continue growing the business, nurturing customer relations, and giving back to the community.
Ken and Myra founded Notable Outdoor Living in 2015 to provide employment opportunities to those needing a second chance and to offer training that would help employees develop valuable skills and thrive in the business world. The company's name reflects this mission: "Note" from the first four letters of their last name, Noteboom, and "Able" to signify their goal of empowering people through work.
From its humble beginnings selling handcrafted red cedar chairs made in Ken and Myra’s garage, Notable Outdoor Living has become Grand Lake’s preferred destination for high-quality outdoor furnishings. Known for their responsive customer service, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and a wide range of top-quality brands, Notable Outdoor Living offers everything needed for a complete outdoor experience.
The store features the Berlin Gardens LLC poly outdoor furniture collection, along with rugs, fire pits, and fire tables. Berlin Gardens furniture is manufactured in Ohio and shipped to Notable Outdoor Living, where the staff completes the assembly, whether in the shop or directly on your deck, dock, porch, or patio before delivery.
Notable Outdoor Living provides free delivery to most of the Grand Lake area and offers delivery within 150 miles of their store, covering the Four State area of Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and northwest Arkansas. They also offer drop shipping to anywhere in the United States.
To extend their reach and help transform the way people enjoy the outdoors in Northwest Arkansas, Notable Outdoor Living opened a second showroom in Springdale, Arkansas, in early 2023. Located inside Ozark Sunrooms & More, this showroom features the Berlin Gardens LLC poly outdoor furniture collection and high-quality shade products from Frankford Umbrellas.
